The 14th International Asparagus Symposium will take place at the University of Potsdam.
The University of Potsdam is a German public university in the Berlin-Brandenburg region of Germany. It is situated across four campuses in Potsdam, Brandenburg, including the New Palace of Sanssouci and Babelsberg Park.
The University of Potsdam is Brandenburg’s largest university and with its numerous extramural institutes, the Potsdam and Berlin area is known as one of the most densely settled research landscapes in Germany. As for the University of Potsdam, more than 8,000 people are working in scholarship and science. Some parts of the university are located in historical buildings that have been named as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
The 14th International Asparagus Symposium will take place at the University of Potsdam, at the campus Potsdam – Golm.
Campus II Golm is easily accessible by car, bus (605) and regional trains (RB 18***, directions Golm, Oranienburg, Wustermark) from Potsdam Main Station. Golm is located in the west of Potsdam, only 5minutes from the famous Sanssouci park.
The area comprises a wide range of scientific knowledge, combining the university campus as well as a science park, housing three Max-Planck Institutes, two Fraunhofer Institutes and GO:IN, the Golm Innovation center.
The conference will take place in university building 27, only 3min from Golm train station, bus stop and close to several huge parking sites (Google maps).
